Interislander Terminals

• Drivers are welcome to relax in our dedicated driver lounges at our terminals before boarding the ferry.
• Each lounge is equipped with hot and cold drinking facilities and a microwave.
• Shower and toilet facilities are also available.
• Please take care of these facilities as they are tailored for commercial vehicle drivers who need a quiet place to reset.
• Driver rest areas in Wellington and Picton

Onboard our ferries

• Each ferry offers a dedicated lounge for commercial vehicle drivers. Drivers are invited to relax in our drivers’ lounge and enjoy a complimentary fresh, tasty meal prepared by our onboard chefs.
• Meal vouchers are provided at terminal check-in. Present your voucher to the onboard services team to collect your complimentary meal.
• The lounges on each ship have SKY Television and WiFi
• Our ferries also provide different types of sleeping quarters and shower facilities for drivers. For the Kaiarahi, drivers need to request a cabin at the time of booking as numbers are limited.  Cabins will be allocated to drivers, subject to availability.
• All cabins onboard our ferries are multiple occupancy.  Our crew do their best to accommodate driver requests for single occupancy however this cannot be guaranteed. Cabins are reserved for the use of drivers only.  Partners and children are not permitted in cabins.
• If drivers are unfamiliar with any particular ferry, our friendly staff are happy to assist.
