If you are taking a commercial/heavy goods vehicle or horse float across Cook Strait you will need to check-in at the Commercial Vehicle check-in hut at our terminal.
Please arrive at the ferry terminal 60 minutes prior to the scheduled time of departure. Trucks and trailers must be set up and ready to travel prior to arrival at the terminal.
Due to operational considerations such as load planning, stowage and timetable adherence, vehicles arriving within 30 minutes of departure may not be accepted for the sailing.
The address for the Wellington Interislander Terminal is Aotea Quay, Pipitea, Wellington 6011.

We are making some more changes to the layout of the terminal in Wellington - we are moving the Commercial Vehicle Yard back to its old position. We are targetting 4 June.
With the wind down of the iReX construction project, Interislander has some work to do to ensure the Wellington terminal is safe, secure and well set up for our customers and team.
For Commerical Vehicle (CV) customers, this means the Wellington terminal CV marshalling yard, weighbridge and CV hut will soon be moving back to its pre-IreX location.
The CV Discharge and Drop Unit collection will continue to operate under the motorway. If you have any questions please email Rob Tulloch or talk to our staff at the terminal.
The address for Picton Interislander Terminal is Lagoon Road, Picton 7220.
